Meeting my Prayer Intentions

“I’m coming!” I was thrilled to see a fellowship invite from my beloved choir. I haven’t been as active for months but I’m constantly seeing updates from the group. I just knew I had to be there.

There was a point wherein the choir’s numbers were getting smaller and smaller, to the point where there were only altos and sopranos. No brothers were committing in service anymore. And to top it all off, we didn’t have a choir master. The choir was still able to strive with these constraints –mainly because of dedicated ladies who will not stop serving as long as they have a voice.

It has always been part of my prayer intentions, especially when I went on a pilgrimage, for the choir to be blessed with a choir master and more members. It has been my prayer for a long time, even when nothing nothing seems to happen. And today, I met my answered prayer — All 12 of them (the rest are old friends)

It is true that God is crazy generous! I prayed for a choirmaster who will teach and play the keyboard, and He gave us not just one, but two. One of them was from a different choir who saw our Mama Mary serenade performance. I found out that he voluntarily looked for us. The rest of the members are group of friends who brings life and a fresh new look to the choir. These amazing people I met today are heaven’s precious gifts. I’m so grateful for their YES to His call.

My heart feels full as I hear the stories of how the choir family is growing. Thank you, Lord! In this choir, and in everything else, may Your name be glorified!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
